About Primrose Lodge Care Home Weymouth
Primrose Lodge Weymouth is a cheerful residential home that is particularly popular for its close proximity to the seaside and local nature reserves, all of which have been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Together with offering a superb location for residential care, Primrose Lodge has a team of highly-trained and experienced carers, who are dedicated to treating every resident as an individual whilst ensuring they receive the care and treatment appropriate to them.
Residents enjoy their own independence, whilst having access to care when required, in a warm and friendly atmosphere and access to alternative therapies where requested.
We are registered to accommodate up to 38 people and all bedrooms have en-suite facilities. We have two big lounges and a separate dining room.
The Home is situated on the main Dorchester to Weymouth road, approximately two miles from Weymouth town centre and our location is ideal for living a relaxing lifestyle while being near to local travel routes.
Our Home has a spacious and comfortable interior valued by our residents and their visitors. We pride ourselves on the family environment we have created that ensures residents experience a comfortable home with a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere - a home from home.
Confidence in Care
Our team which includes well trained care assistants are friendly, respectful and dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care and professional support 24 hours a day. We focus on each resident, and tailor care to their individual needs and care plan.
We believe it is important to strike a balance between providing appropriate support and assistance to our residents to help them maintain their independence while encouraging a full and active lifestyle where possible.

Person Centred Care
For many care homes, writing comprehensive care plans, keeping them up to date, and communicated with residents' families can be a time consuming task for care staff. As it is essential, we looked into how we can continue to provide our high level of care whilst ensuring all care planning and administration is kept up to date.
We use Person Centred Software, a fantastic electronic care management system to alleviate pressure on care staff, make documenting care plans quicker and ensure all residents are safe, comfortable and happy.
